We are looking to recruit Trust grade doctors to work on the Trust Grade Doctor (first on call) rota.
This role is the day-to-day management of sick children, infants and neonates helped by the nursing staff under the direct supervision of Registrars and Consultant Paediatricians. They will be supervised and supported by the Registrar on shift at all times.
The successful applicants will be expected to join the other doctors in covering Dolphin ward/ Paediatric A&E, NICU/ Postnatal wards and Out-patient clinics (supervised). This will involve working a mixture of normal days, Long days and nights on a rolling rota basis. They will be responsible to timely patient review and discharge with appropriate senior support. The Department has a very active Audit and Governance program that the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to by undertaking and presenting projects.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping.
