Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing paid media campaigns across various digital platforms, with a heavy focus on social media platforms. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising strategies, as well as experience in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns. This person should have a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok and X (Twitter), and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimization. We are looking for someone with a proven record of accomplishment in managing successful paid media campaigns, with a strong understanding of key performance metrics and analytics. Overall, the Paid Media Specialist should be a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business results through digital advertising and media. They should be able to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute impactful paid media campaigns while continuously optimizing and improving performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Paid Media Strategy + Execution
  • Developing and implementing paid media strategies to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness.
  • Execute paid media strategies to meet specific marketing objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage, optimize, and analyze paid media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Experience working within third-party social tool platforms (i.e. Sprout, or Sprinklr) is a plus.
  • Monitoring + Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve ROI.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of different campaigns and provide suggestions to sales and marketing depts on what type of ads work best for our audience.
  • Monitor and stay up-to date on industry trends and best practices in paid media and digital advertising.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and campaign reports and insights on campaign performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and track benchmarks to assess performance and meet partner requests.
  • Budget Management
  • Reconciliation invoice monthly, assist in resolving any outstanding issues.
  • Adjust budgets and bids to meet our business goals and boost revenue.
  • Responsible for creating and managing budgets to maximize results and allocate funds effectively.
  • Internal + External Partnerships
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as Sales, Social, Editorial and Brand Solutions, to develop impactful and effective paid media campaigns ensuring alignment between paid media efforts and overall marketing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to support paid media initiatives as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on paid media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and more
  • Must have a knowledge base of boosting ads on all social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Spotify)
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or other relevant platforms
  • Sprout Social and/or Sprinkler and Monday.com is a bonus (If you do not have these skills, you will be expected to learn them on the job)
  • Effective communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and paid media
