This is how you will grow:

this position is responsible for all material topics and leads all material supplier activities and evaluations.

  • Establish materials strategy with PWT
  • Coordinate and lead the new color launches and trials.
  • Leader over all material suppliers – Pretreatment, Ecoat, Sealer, LASD, Primer, Basecoat, Clearcoat and Cavity Wax.
  • Participate in daily meetings with suppliers and PE.
  • Participate in color harmony meetings to review the color between the body and supplier parts.
  • Lead problem investigations to determine paint-related defect causes.
  • Responsible for new paint introduction and build-out of outgoing or obsolete paint.
  • Drive supplier competition to improve appearance and cost.
  • Evaluate material modifications for quality improvements.
  • Define annual targets in regards to quality and usage for all material suppliers.
  • Evaluate actual and target performance.
  • Implement PLP (Paint Standards) requirements for paint.
  • Lead projects as necessary related to paint materials and associated equipment changes.
