Description:

Sapphire Painting is currently looking for a Painter Apprentice to join the team.
If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction, this position is for you!
You will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring, and support by working with qualified and skilled painters. Our main focus is the painting and decorating of houses and commercial buildings.

Duties will involve:

  • Carry out measurements and calculations.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
  • Handle painting and decorating materials.
  • Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
  • Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Apply paint with brush and roller.
  • Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
