    We are currently looking for a Paint/Badge Assembly to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to use various inspection hand and air tools
  • Problem solving skills
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Poses excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be dexterous and able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma with Community College Certificate/Diploma or Manufacturing/Mechanical preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis training and experience
  • Lean Manufacturing training and experience an asset

Responsibilities:

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the Paint/Badge Assembly will provide functions within painting, badging, packaging, and general support of assigned functions within the Paint, Pressure Body, and Meter Service department.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures for assembly, painting, badging, and packaging
  • Read drawings and follow detailed finishing and shipping instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Use hand and air tools safely and as directed
  • Masking and prepping for paint
  • Follow quality control practices
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Maintain 5S practices
  • Record keeping as directed by Supervisor
  • Housekeeping as required
  • All other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
