DESCRIPTION:

As a Paralegal, you will perform a critical role in providing legal support as well as administrative support. This role enables the delivery of expert legal support and makes a valued contribution to our team of Lawyers, in addition to providing secretarial administrative tasks.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

To be the right fit for our Company you will be values-driven, a team player, and flexible in your approach to the work you will undertake. You will ideally be currently completing or completed your undergraduate studies and must be available to work full-time. Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.

• Preparing legal correspondence and court documents;
• Client reporting;
• General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, binding, etc;
• Dictation/typing;
• File management using our legal management software;
• Liaising with clients;
• Preparing and editing correspondence
• Diary management
• Point of contact for Legal correspondence
• Answering and directing calls
• Preparing briefs and court documents
• Word processing
• File maintenance
