Description:

We are on the search for a Legal all-rounder who feels confident to embody and weave the role of paralegal, licensed conveyancer and administrator. You will be supporting one Property Lawyer with legal administration, case work, managing client experiences, and settling conveyancing matters from start to finish. You will possess the intuitive sense for leveling up seamless processes and adding efficiency to our client’s conveyancing department.
Two days will never feel the same, therefore we require someone who is adaptable, flexible and a multitasking guru. You will thrive in the energy of expanding and challenging your legal career with an innate passion to develop and nurture not only yourself, but the firm’s continued development and success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid license as a licensed conveyancer.
  • Proven experience in conveyancing or a related legal field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • MUST have at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • MUST have full Australian working rights to apply.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative mindset and attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to the Property Lawyer. Managing property transactions via PEXA, including preparing legal documents, conducting searches, and coordinating settlements.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, diary management.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support conveyancing activities and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, however some training will be provided.
  • Opening and closing files with minimal hand holding.
