Description:
Robert Half is partnering with an VERY well known international entertainment company on their search for a Licensing Manager or Corporate Paralegal with a background in brand management, production, publishing, marketing, and licensing. Key Responsibilities
Draft and review independent contractor agreements, statements of work, talent and material releases, and basic media licensing agreements.
Assist in negotiating contract terms with talent, contractors, and other parties involved in media production projects.
Develop and maintain a contract template library tailored to the needs of media production projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in contract drafting processes.
Conduct legal research and provide support on various legal matters related to media production, including intellectual property rights, copyright issues, and contract law.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, finance, and licensing, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate risks.
Assist in resolving legal disputes and claims related to media production projects.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in laws and regulations affecting media production.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ YOE in a law firm or in-house legal department with a focus on contract management
