C.A.T. Inc, a transportation company in business for over 42 years, is looking for a dynamic candidate for the following opportunity at its head office in Coteau-du-Lac.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology
- Working knowledge of litigation management software systems
- Knowledge of contract and claims management as asset
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
- Superior written and oral communication skills in both English and French
- Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Transport/logistic experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Write, transcribe, and proofread legal and contract documents
- Manage external requests, claims and insurance certificates
- Process third party and vendor invoices
- File, organize, scan, manage, copy, and fax legal documents in a timely manner
- Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminder
- Perform administrative tasks related to the position, including triage and management of requests, claims and billing
