Description:

Are you an experienced paralegal with a passion for helping clients navigate personal injury cases? We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. If you have a strong background in personal injury law, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to client advocacy, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial client intake to case resolution.
  • Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage case files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on relevant issues.
  • Prepare for and assist with depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide support to attorneys during settlement negotiations and mediations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury litigation process and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
