Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The dedicated Private Funds team acts for a number of asset managers and significant investors alike.
We are specialists in bespoke and structured fund structuring and fund launches, we are asset class agnostic, working closely with our highly regarded tax, indirect real estate, and restructuring team, as well as our market leading pensions and insurance group, private equity group and credit teams.
We advise on high profile fund launches and investor closes, across all asset classes, primarily focusing on Luxembourg and Irish funds, Cayman and Dubai fund structures, Jersey/Guernsey and Scottish funds.
The team has a very strong track record in listed funds and is growing its European Private Funds practice
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal or Legal Executive to join a successful and collegiate team that is in expansion mode with further opportunities to grow.
The role also offers an opportunity to work for a very experienced Private Funds Partner who has managed to support their Paralegals with their professional development. For the right candidate, there may also be the possibility to complete a secondment in an asset management.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with drafting and negotiation of ancillary documentation, the collation and satisfaction of condition precedents, both on the finance and real estate sides
  • Pre- and post-completion transaction management
  • Managing your own workload and supporting others, and participating in delivering a quality service to clients.
