Description:

Paralegal
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Paralegal specialising in Litigation and Recoveries to join a reputable legal team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in debt negotiation and recovery, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to their clients. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and contribute to the success of the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in all phases of litigation and recovery matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to debt negotiation and recovery strategies.
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage and organize case files and documentation efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
  • Assist in the preparation for and attendance at court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless case management and client satisfaction.

About you:

  • Minimum of three years of experience working as a Paralegal, with a focus on debt negotiation and recovery within a legal firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal software and tools is advantageous.
