Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Remote Contract Civil Litigation Paralegal for a client in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role will primarily involve drafting pleadings, form completion/submission, and calendar management in the areas of Employment Law, Personal Injury, and Workers Compensation.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
  • Familiarity with Case Management Software and other legal technology
  • Expertise in Employment Law, Personal Injury Law, and Workers Compensation Law
  • Ability to manage calendars and meet deadlines
  • Experience in complaint handling and claim administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
  • Familiarity with legal briefing techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Paralegal
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and LexisNexis
  • Familiarity with Management System and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and Personal Injury Plaintiffs
  • Understanding of Employment Law, Workers Compensation, and Workers Comp Law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job
  • Willingness to continue learning and improving relevant legal skills.
