Description:
We are welcoming a dedicated Paralegal to our team based in Fort Myers, Florida. The successful candidate will contribute to our legal team by providing support in various legal and administrative tasks. This role will involve communication with clients, court officials, financial institutions, and other law offices, drafting of legal documents and performing legal research.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, financial institutions, law offices, and others to maintain strong professional relationships.
- Efficiently draft documents including, but not limited to, correspondence, notices, pleadings, and other necessary legal documents.
- Schedule court events such as hearings, mediations, depositions, and others, ensuring all are timely and effectively coordinated.
- Manage court filings and client files, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Create trial binders to aid in the preparation for court proceedings.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research at both basic and middle levels.
- Utilize case and calendar management software to organize and prioritize workload.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment in all tasks.
- Utilize skills in estate planning and estate law to provide comprehensive support in guardianship, estate administration, or trust litigation matters.
- Draft legal documents, draft pleadings, and schedule depositions as required.
- Proficiency in Case Management Software
- Experience with Calendar Management
- Knowledge and experience in Estate Planning
- Expertise in Estate Law
- Familiarity with Probate & Estate Administration
- Ability to Draft Legal Documents
- Experience in Drafting Pleadings
- Strong skills in Legal Research
- Experience in Scheduling Depositions
- Trial Experience is necessary
