We are seeking a Paralegal to join our law firm in Palm City, Florida. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the legal industry. The Paralegal will primarily be responsible for handling bankruptcy cases, including research, preparation of petitions, filing documents, and client communication. This is 20-30 hours a week flexible.

• Conduct legal research related to bankruptcy cases
• Prepare bankruptcy petitions for chapters 7, 11, and 13
• File legal documents as required
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed
• Utilize case management software to maintain and update case information
• Manage calendars to ensure all deadlines are met
• Utilize knowledge of bankruptcy law in day-to-day tasks
• Conduct e-filing as required
• Utilize legal research skills to support case preparation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal
• Proficient in Case Management Software
• Experience in Calendar Management
• Specialized knowledge in Bankruptcy, specifically in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
• Demonstrated understanding of Bankruptcy Law
• Proficient in Legal Research
• Familiarity with e-File and e-Filing systems
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in the specified location
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
