Description:

WE’RE A LEADING ONLINE REVIEWS PLATFORM, FREE AND OPEN TO ALL. OUR MISSION IS TO BE A UNIVERSAL SYMBOL OF TRUST. WE ARE WELL ON OUR WAY — BUT THERE’S STILL AN EXCITING JOURNEY AHEAD OF US. DO YOU WANT TO JOIN US AT THE HEART OF TRUST?

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Paralegal to join our fast-paced, dynamic, and fun Legal & Privacy team. The team handles a broad range of legal and privacy matters across multiple jurisdictions and, as part of Trustpilot’s broader ‘Trust & Transparency’ team, plays a key role in supporting Trustpilot’s mission to become a universal symbol of trust. This is an important role with the scope to make a real impact, so we’d love to hear from strong, committed individuals who relish a challenge and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in!
We are hiring this role to be based from our offices in London, Copenhagen or Edinburgh. We embrace hybrid working and you will be needed in our office 1-2 days per week.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You will ideally have previous experience working within an in-house legal team, but it is not a requirement.
  • You are proactive, a keen learner and take responsibility for your own work.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You are always looking for ways to improve things and use your own initiative to propose solutions where you identify problems.
  • You have excellent organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple demands and work at speed to meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations.
  • You are a “tech-savvy”, fun, dynamic and positive person, who remains calm under pressure.
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global organisation.
  • You are an innovative, commercially-minded individual who has an interest in, and passion for new technology, problem-solving and improving process delivery.
  • You have legal research skills, a clear succinct writing style, and a high attention to detail.
  • You speak and write English fluently - it’s our business language within Trustpilot.
  • Knowledge of Google suite, MS Word & Excel and DocuSign is desirable.

STILL NOT SURE?

We are Open to All, which means we want everyone to feel like they can see themselves at Trustpilot. We’re keen to hear about your experiences as well as how you can help to create a fantastic culture for our amazing Trusties. So, don’t worry if you’re looking at this job description and feel like you don’t meet all the requirements, we’d still really like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting members of the Legal & Privacy team with a broad range of commercial, corporate, privacy and employment matters, in addition to other miscellaneous legal issues, in a fast-paced but fun environment.
  • Handling queries and requests from colleagues and third parties, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Legal & Privacy team.
  • Carrying out general legal administrative duties such as contract approvals, corporate filings, and triaging and allocation of work.
  • Identifying and implementing new, innovative and automated ways of working, utilising technology where possible to drive greater operational efficiencies across the wider Legal & Privacy team.
  • Improving our standard processes, documentation and training / support materials, allowing us to service and support stakeholders at scale.
  • Legal research and helping to keep the Legal & Privacy team up-to-date on changes to relevant law and regulation.
