About Parameta Solutions
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview
This is a commercially focused Management Accountant role within the Parameta Solutions division working within a small team responsible for the development and delivery of financial and business insight and analysis to support business decision making across the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) for the PS business across brands and legal entities.
  • The development of the divisional Balance Sheet control framework and the production of the monthly Balance Sheet substantiations for the Parameta legal entities.
  • To support the month-end process through the calculation and preparation of journals, as well as by coordinating with different finance teams across the group to ensure timelines met and guaranteeing integrity of output.
  • Support with the production of the statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • To take control of the operating costs by playing a lead role in planning, reporting and analysis of actual spend against budget.
  • Responsibility for the preparation of timely and accurate management information for key stakeholders.
  • Regular discussions and support to help budget holders to better understand and efficiently implement their budget.
  • To identify and deliver process improvements and continuously drive change, focusing on automation and efficiency in a controlled environment.
  • To support the FP&A Manager during the major planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, business planning).
  • Where required to be an active participant in various ongoing projects and change programmes within the business.
  • Supporting the FP&A Manager and Financial Controller with assigned tasks and ad hoc reporting requests, as and when required.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), preferably with experience in audit or financial control.
  • Skilled with applications such as Excel (advanced), Oracle, OneStream, or other similar applications.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders across different departments.
  • In-depth knowledge of what a good control environment looks like.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail is essential.
