Te āheinga The opportunity
As the Parks Asset Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the hard landscape features within our parks and open spaces. Your role will involve overseeing the execution of the scheduled work programme for hard landscape activities, ensuring that our parks’ infrastructure is well-maintained and meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
Tino takohanga Key responsibilities
Actively ensure that good employer obligations and legislative requirements are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation.
Asset management inspections, work schedules and engineers’ reports are organised for good parks asset management.
Asset data is updated, and new assets created to maintain records.
Ensure asset are disposed of environmentally accepted practice and look for opportunities to reduce council waste and recycle where appropriate.
Supervise and manage contractors where required to upkeep parks asset.
Develop a safety culture within the team and lead by example.
Develop inspections, schedules, support the Playground, walkways maintenance and asset renewals.

Relevant National Qualification in Landscaping, Civil or construction.
Experience in asset data
Have good technically application skills and is computer trained and competent.
