Description:
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ATHLETIC SERVICES DESK RECEPTIONIST:
Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a part-time Athletic Services Desk Receptionist. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. You answer incoming calls effectively; forward phone calls to other club extensions or voice mail boxes and take messages from callers. You greet members and guests who are visiting the club and schedules appointments for administrative staff.
To provide the best service possible, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of duties aimed at ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all who enter our doors. From warmly welcoming members and guests with high quality hospitality by their last names while efficiently managing check-ins and reservations, you will play a pivotal role in setting the tone for their visit. You will act as a liaison between personal trainers, massage therapists, group fitness instructors, staff members, members and the Athletic Director.
Your keen attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial as you handle administrative tasks such as answering inquiries, managing phone calls, and maintaining accurate records. Above all, your dedication to providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with our members will be the cornerstone of your role, creating a welcoming atmosphere that portrays the values of our club.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED or higher
Customer service experience
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to use a PC with basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to handle moderate noise level in the work environment
Must be able to lift frequently, bend, reach, and pull up to 25 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two+ years of work experience in a resort, club, or hospitality industry setting preferred
