Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper for a 3-month temporary assignment based in Manukau City Centre. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and integrate the business Cost of Goods Report into Xero system.
Preferred hours (some flexibility available):
- Monday 9.30am – 4.00pm
- Tuesday 9.30am – 4.00pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Record Keeping – Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Transaction Processing – Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions promptly and accurately.
- Bank Reconciliations – Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of recorded transactions.
- Payroll Assistance – Assist with payroll responsibilities such as preparing payroll reports.
- Expense Tracking – Monitor and track business expenses, reconcile cost of goods report.
- Financial Reporting – Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports, providing insights into financial performance.
- Ad Hoc Tasks – Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
