Description:

The Lloydminster and District Co-op Hampton’s Gas Bar is currently recruiting for a Part time Cashier and a Part time Pump Attendant.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a high level of prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
  • Operate a cash register as required in order to provide prompt, accurate, efficient and friendly service to customers.
  • To provide we serve quality of pump service at all times. Approaching customers for the purpose of providing customer service is the first priority over other duties and a constant maintained. Customers must never be forced to wait at unattended pump facilities.
  • Perform all aspects of filling appropriate fuel into vehicles, storing and maintaining product, and maintaining displays.
  • To be familiar with and adhere to the proper till procedures.
  • To be responsible for the free flow of merchandise through the checkout counters.
  • To handle complaints and errors of a minor nature.
  • To be prompt in assimilating markdowns, coupons and paid out vouchers, etc., in order for them to be recorded on the cash reconciliations.
  • To engage in and supervise packing of customer purchases at the checkout counters.
  • To remove cash drawer and secure in the office at the end of every shift.
  • To be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies of cash register tapes, packing supplies, packing slips, etc., at the checkout counters.
  • To be responsible for maintaining confection stock in the checkout area and report out of stock items to the Manager.
  • Ordering, receiving freight and unloading freight truck.
  • Cross train in other positions as required.
  • To be constantly alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise and to report the discrepancies to the Gas Bar Manager.
  • To perform daily housekeeping duties as time permits, which involve keeping merchandise free from dust, orderly display of merchandise on shelves and in the bins, aisles to be kept free of unnecessary and unwarranted obstacles, shelves and bins in kept in a clean orderly condition.
  • Responsible to adhere to all company policies and procedures, working in a safe and efficient manner
