Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part Time Cashier to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverage industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers entering the establishment with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Accurately process all transactions through the POS system
  • Handle cash, credit and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are neatly arranged
  • Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about pricing and availability
  • Upsell additional products when appropriate, using suggestive selling techniques
  • Follow all company procedures and policies regarding cash handling and customer serviceCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the establishment

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role in F&B industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactionsCustomer service-oriented with a positive attitude

  • Weekends only5pm - 7pm
