Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part Time Cashier to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverage industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the establishment with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Accurately process all transactions through the POS system
- Handle cash, credit and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are neatly arranged
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about pricing and availability
- Upsell additional products when appropriate, using suggestive selling techniques
Follow all company procedures and policies regarding cash handling and customer serviceCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the establishment
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role in F&B industry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactionsCustomer service-oriented with a positive attitude
Working hours/days:
Weekends only5pm - 7pm
