Dealer Auction is the UK’s largest automotive digital wholesale marketplace, offering our customers confidence, convenience and choice. Dealer Auction is a joint venture between Cox Automotive and Auto Trader.
With thousands of cars taken in part exchange each year nationwide, Dealer Auction offers trade buyers/sellers the opportunity to buy and sell trade cars direct from franchised main dealers as well as Fleet and OEM. We offer dealers access to vehicles they wouldn’t normally have access to, through an easy-to-use platform that bids automatically on their behalf.
Our customers have all year-round 24/7 access to inventory, enabling them to bid online for stock they might otherwise not be able to buy. Using an intelligent bidding system Buyers can place a “Maximum Bid” on a listed vehicle or buy now and it will bid on their behalf. This gives Buyers the opportunity to buy a vehicle without the need to constantly monitor the auction and sellers a platform knowing the most eyes are looking at their listings.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• This is a challenging, target driven role and as such you will need to be highly self-motivated. You will have worked within a customer service or sales environment and have excellent telephone communication and sales skills. If you’re a natural born sales person, you’re just what we are looking for!
• You are able to effectively build relationships with both your customers and also colleagues and are both confident and comfortable when doing so. If influencing is amongst your skill set, then great!
• You are really driven and motivated to achieve and exceed any targets and you know what an exceptional customer experience looks like; always striving to exceed the expectations of your customers.
• You will be highly organised and have proficient pc skills. It would be ideal if you have worked within a car sales or franchised dealer environment but not essential

SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

The Sales Support role involves liaising with car dealers and traders to conclude the sale of vehicles via our online auction system.
As well as dealing with enquiries relating to the vehicle listings the role will include prospecting for new dealers and traders to the site, qualifying their business requirements and identifying how best we can maximise their trade business.

OBJECTIVES FOR THE ROLE:

• Negotiating sales with both Vendors and Buyers
• Sales progressing; ensuring all parties are kept up to date and informed in a timely manner
• Achieving daily/weekly and monthly sales targets
• Keeping accurate records of all activities undertaken using the admin tool
• Monitoring quality of vendor listings
