Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Service focused personality is essential;
- Previous Front Desk experience an asset
- Must be willing to work shift work including overnight shifts
- Must be personable and presentable
- Diploma or Degree in hospitality management is an asset

Responsibilities:
- Actively promote the Fairmont Brand through adhering to our mission statement and values.
- Contribute to achieving the loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing warm and luxury service.
- Respond to all guest in a timely manner, consistently offer professional and engaging service and take initiative to add a personalized experience to our internal and external guests.
- Handle guest complaints and comments in a professional manner and provide the necessary follow up for co-workers and leaders.
- To be aware and informed of occupancy levels and busy seasons, contracted rates, packages and promotions.
- Pre-arrival duties including blocking rooms accommodating special requests and ALL members.
- Arrival duties including friendly and efficient registration of guests by adhering to Fairmont/Accor policies and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Administer room keys for guests, ensuring that the Company’s security procedures are followed.
- Departure duties including friendly and efficient checkout of guests.
- Answer guest inquiries and complaints in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and colleagues by maintaining knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures.
- Ability to answer all guest inquiries at the Front Desk.
- Taking accurate payments and managing a cash float.
