JOB SUMMARY:
- Assisting with both personal and practical care tasks e.g. dressing, washing/bath, very light household work, meal preparation
- Facilitating independence and social involvement i.e. trips, shopping, banking, community activities
- Ensure dignity, privacy and independence are maintained and respected at all times
- Reporting any issues to our Care Manager or Supervisor team.
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ACCEPTED:
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a QQI Level 5 Healthcare related course (minimum of Care Skills and Care of the Older Person courses)
OR
- Must be in the process of completing a Nursing related qualification
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Up-to-date patient moving and handling certificate (desirable)
Responsibilities:

- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong commitment to providing high levels of care
- Fluent in English
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Full clean driver’s license with own transport (highly desirable)
- Be available to cover an occasional weekend shift (when required)
