JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a part time HR Coordinator to assist the HR Business Manager in various HR admin tasks.
You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of HR functions and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and possesses excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of HR tasks and grow their knowledge through ongoing mentorship.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HR Qualification (QQI Level 5 minimum)
- A member of the CIPD
- 1 year experience as an HR Assistant or similar position, ideally in a retail or hospitality setting
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (preferably Softworks and Occupop).
- Knowledge of Irish employment laws and regulations is essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing CVs, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing documentation and conducting orientations
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Note take in meetings/disciplinaries when required
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters
- Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures
- Handle general HR queries in a timely manner and provide support to employees
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrolment and addressing employee queries
- Prepare HR-related reports and assist in data analysis
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive employee experience
- Ad hoc duties as required
