Part-Time Judicial Commissioner

The Wilson County Office of the Judicial Commissioners is seeking Judicial Commissioners. Position(s) available are for weekend second and third shifts. Second shift is 2pm-10pm and third shift hours are 10pm-6am. The Office operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Nights, weekends, and alternating holidays are required.
Responsibilities: Conducting probable cause hearings, arraignment, and bail review hearings, preparing warrants and civil protective order petitions, issuing warrants, mittimus, and criminal summons. Position also requires public assistance, data entry and providing general support within the Office and to the General Sessions Courts.
Requirements: Wilson County resident, 25 years of age, experience within the criminal justice system preferred. Successful applicant must pass background check.
$25.77 / hour
Position available immediately, open until filled
Part time positions could turn into full time positions as needed
