Description:

We are looking to appoint a Part-time Research Group Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for The Oxford Psychological Interventions in Childhood and adolescence (TOPIC) research group led by Professor Cathy Creswell. The work of the team aims to improve outcomes from and access to psychological interventions for child and adolescent mental health problems. The post is based in the Department of Experimental Psychology in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter in Oxford and is part time (40%-50% FTE).
This post is for a fixed term (funded for 12 months)
You will support the TOPIC Admin Team in managing a range of enquiries, both routine and urgent, from colleagues, researchers, students, clinicians, and participants in research projects. You will use judgement to determine what information should be communicated to other team members (taking direction from admin leads where appropriate). You will support with financial procurement of goods and services using R12 Oracle Financials, and make arrangements for UK and international travel for the group and visitors using KeyTravel.
You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent with previous experience of working in a fast-paced office administration environment, ideally in a medical/academic/research environment and/or operations and administration team. You will have excellent communication and computer skills along with experience of making travel arrangements. The ability to manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload and work to deadlines are essential skills.
