JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree (preferred) and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in financial services – retirement plan experience a plus
  • Call center experience in sales and influencing decisions
  • Experience in handling multiple priorities
  • Experience in managing both internal and external relationships (i.e. financial advisers, plan sponsors)

THIS ROLE IS REMOTE AND CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE US.

Take this opportunity to join the growing Integrated Education Solutions (IES) team. Be part of the onboarding process which keys on the delivery of education content either through a digital experience or a consultative approach. Use your “sales” skills to influence both internal and external partners to apply the most equitable education solution. Join IES as it launches a market differentiating participant onboarding experience.
The Participant Onboarding Education Consultant role is responsible for communicating with internal (including RVP; ISC; SRM; NRM; Operations (PIM)) and external partners (Financial advisers; TPAs; and, Plan Sponsors) to determine the most effective method for onboarding newly eligible employees. The role will work in a call center environment focusing on delivery of the most efficient solution. This role is considered the central point of contact for all “non-standard” segmentation enrollment/education planning for new and existing clients. The role will participate in outbound planning calls; internal task creation, assignment and reporting; and, the transition from new business to ongoing. The role is critical for establishing strong relationships with external intermediaries; Plan Sponsors; and, Participants from conversion through the duration of the RPS business relationship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with sales teams; Plan Implementation Managers (PIMs); and Relationship Managers (SRMs and NRMs) to determine the best solution for onboarding (enrolling and educating) employees based on the needs of the customer for non-standard onboarding clients
  • Proactive consulting with intermediaries and plan sponsors channeled to non-standard onboarding services for understanding the most efficient education solution to meet client goals/objectives
  • Role to be assigned by sales team
  • Consulting based discussions with the sales/retention/operation teams; and/or subsequent interviews with key external collaborators; and, active research concerning the plan sponsor
  • Handle input of information into CRM (Salesforce) that pertains to the onboarding experience
  • Interview and consult with Financial Representatives; TPAs and Plan Sponsors to figure out the most efficient method(s) and media to support initial onboarding of newly eligible employees and ongoing enrollment/education need
  • Handle the logistics required to facilitate the mutually agreed upon onboarding solution including the Onboarding Resource Center; material ordering; educator requests
  • Handle the communications with both internal and external partners of the solution details
  • Work with designated TPA to secure accurate Plan highlights when required
  • Handle CRM (Salesforce) input
  • Training and development needs including the education of internal and external partners concerning the John Hancock suite of enrollment/education solutions
  • Handling the external partner experience (FA, TPA, Plan Sponsor)
  • Handling the participant experience
  • Develop Best Practices to strengthen Financial Adviser’s and TPAs existing service model using the John Hancock suite of solutions
