Overview:
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join the Partner Assurance Agency Team? Look no further! We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team and take on the responsibility of on-boarding all new trading partners.
As a Partner Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in putting appropriate agreements in place to govern the various trading relationships. This team sits within Operations and holds a key active role in the “first line of defence” in our three-tier governance framework.
A Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) is an agreement that governs the conduct of insurance business between any of the Gallagher legal entities and certain trading partners, including insurers, managing agents, or brokers. As a team member, you will be responsible for setting out the terms of our relationship with these partners.
Responsibilities:
To provide support to Gallagher Business Units to ensure appropriate agreements are in place to allow free flow of business transactions whilst supporting and adhering to the Gallagher Conduct & Governance policies and frameworks as applicable.
- Negotiation, drafting and support of Non-Standard Terms of Business Agreement contracts and their associated contract administration.
- Support Standard Terms of Business Team by assisting with queries and renegotiation of Standard TOBA’s as appropriate.
- Negotiate and draft Broker of Record Transfer Agreements
- Accurately maintain and as appropriate publish central records of agreements.
- Develop and maintain productive and creditable working relationships with trading partners and appropriate staff within our internal Retail, Wholesale and Underwriting Divisions
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders - including but not limited to Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime
- Ensure all processes are documented, adhered to and remain current in line with Legal and Regulatory obligations.
- Support of the wider Partner Assurance Team in respect of any project work (including Mergers and Acquisitions), providing management information and in times of increased workload
- Continue to develop and maintain an understanding of the UK regulatory framework as it applies to your role.
- Contribute and support submissions and regular reporting to Management and Director of Partner Assurance
Qualifications:
- Technical understanding of market Terms of Business Agreements and their requirements (desierable)
- Previous experience in a similar role (i.e. Legal, Compliance, contract negotiations)
- Experience in Compliance and/or Financial Crime within a regulated environment.
- Awareness of KYC and Knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Markets would be beneficial.
- Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Keen and comfortable prioritising and organise your own workload.
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including good active listening skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
