Description:

Your skills in partner management, communication, business improvement, and analytical thinking will be crucial in advancing our excellence in Dunning & Collection.

  • Build, maintain and expand relationships with current and potential Debt Collection Partners through regular meetings (virtual and in-person), QBRs, and workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the Zalando business to monitor and improve portfolio quality to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Debt Collection Partners
  • Identify customer and/or partner pain points, create problem statements and work on projects & initiatives to deliver optimizations and new features efficiently, in collaboration with stakeholders and external partners.
  • In collaboration with the wider Dunning & Collections team, improve existing inefficiencies and operational issues with the goal of developing our experiences and processes to the next level, always considering both our partners and customers.
  • Utilize analytics and commercial insights to understand post purchase Collection performance (KPIs) and plan optimisation based on data driven decision

Responsibilities:

As a Manager of Dunning & Collection at Zalando Payments, focusing on Partner Management you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the performance, relationships and collaboration with external partners. Your role involves building robust partnerships through clear communication, reliability, integrity, and operational excellence.
You will aim to protect Zalando’s assets and brand reputation while delivering exceptional service to our customers in a complex environment. Ensuring fair treatment of customers, especially during the post-purchase collections process, while balancing commercial considerations and providing necessary support, is key.
You thrive in project work and enjoy collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders across various areas of the Zalando business to enable new processes, features, and implement required changes and adjustments.
