JOB SUMMARY

The Partner Sales Manager’s (PSM) main duties will be to:
1. Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within the assigned territories.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with these partners and generate targeted revenues from their efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education (business, architecture or engineering degree preferred);

  • Able to demonstrate relevant channel partner/sales experience (3 to 5 years) at a high level of achievement;

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently;
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and commercial awareness;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • High command of English language;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, training and management skills;
  • Ready and able to travel;
  • This position will be Malaysia-based; is a remote work position that requires the candidate to have a reliable internet connection and access to a conducive and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • The PSM develops the business-to-business go-to-market strategy by acquiring new partners and guiding, coaching and mentoring the current partners. The PSM creates sales methodology and demand generation strategies to help the partners succeed.
  • Meet or exceed assigned targets and strategic objectives.
  • The PSM develops and maintains knowledge of local industry systems, standards, practices and trends and competitor activities. Utilise Salesforce to accurately report customer trends and expected sales.
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams, including sales, customer success, software success, marketing and technical support to ensure that partner/customer expectations are met or exceeded and to maximize brand awareness and sales.
  • Represent the voice of channel partners with leadership teams by engaging in product discussions, translating customer usage and feedback into actionable insights.
  • Travel to channel partners and customer locations, as required, to foster strong, lasting and collaborative relationships built on trust.
  • Manage complex problems between multiple parties that includes channel conflict and contract negotiations.
  • Report to the Line Manager and/or the Mission-in-charge on various sales metrics regularly and alert on deviations immediately, if any.
