The Partnership Manager will support bridging operations and development efforts as Digital Harbor Foundation continues to grow as a local, regional, and national presence across our areas of impact. The Partnership Manager will be responsible for managing and contributing to the operations and development efforts of newly developed projects within Digital Harbor Foundation. The Partnership Manager will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject desired and a minimum 3 years’ experience as an operations and/or development professional in the nonprofit sector; minimum of 5 years of experience without a degree.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, including managing multiple projects and deadlines and proactively identifying and completing tasks.
- Ability to collaborate on informal and formal team-based projects.
- Ability to think strategically and make recommendations that take into account competing needs and priorities.
- Highly organized.
- Comfort using CRM databases Proficient with QuickBooks.
- Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
- Provide operational support for newly developed projects and programs as guided by the Chief of Staff. Manage creation of job description and hiring plan as well as interview and hiring process needs of new projects.
- Identify prospective candidates or pursue identified candidates for open positions within new fiscally sponsored projects.
- Manage process of onboarding new fiscally sponsored projects including: setting up new contracts for projects and 1099 contractors, obtaining W9s or W8BENs and payment information to expedite payments.
- Collaborate across the organization to create the most effective, efficient, and impactful solutions that utilize Digital Harbor Foundation’s content, systems, tools, and technologies where and how possible. Serve as the primary point of contact when there are operational support issues related to these new projects and programs.
- Maintain ongoing communications with leadership of new projects to ensure alignment with the vision and mission of the project.
- Support creation of operations collateral related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Contribute to improving organizational process, workflow, operations systems, and related functions. Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Manage and iterate upon processes and frameworks designed to achieve strategic operational outcomes. Translate between strategic thinking and detailed planning, with the ability to manage ambiguous and unstructured problem sets. Actively prioritize outcomes while considering factors such as risk, cost, timing, resources, etc.
