Overview
NSE (National Student Esports) has grown rapidly since its inception in 2018 and is now the largest grassroots gaming community in the UK. Across everything, we take a student-first approach to ensure we always add value to the community. We elevate students university esports experience, helping them now and in their future careers. We use our knowledge to help academic institutions, games publishers, and sponsors support the student community.
Role Summary
As the Partnership Manager, you will be a primary point of contact between NSE and our sponsors and publisher partners, fostering strong and collaborative relationships. This role requires a proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills, a knack for project management, and a passion for esports and gaming .
The successful candidate will help deliver activations and general partnership management for our brand partners such as Intel, Monster Energy, Pringles, UNiDAYS, Scan, and iiyama. In addition, working with games publishers such as Nintendo, Riot, Ubisoft, and Hoyoverse will be another area of focus and project delivery. Plus, the Partnership Manager will be involved in business development, creating new assets and campaign ideas for existing and new sponsors.
You will play a crucial part in driving the success of NSEs partnerships, ensuring the success of partner goals while enhancing the NSE communitys student experience. The successful candidate will be at the heart of the UK esports scene and have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands and publishers active in the esports and gaming market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for multiple partners and leading partner meetings
  • Take ownership of partner projects and activations, oversee their management and delivery with the support of other NSE team members
  • Ensure and oversee partner integration into NSE products, communications, and platforms
  • Collaborate with other members of NSE staff, contractors and other external third parties to ideate and deliver partner activations
  • Prepare and present seasonal partner reports, project reports, and renewal decks
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new business leads

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a similar role for an agency, rights holder, brand, (or other relevant organisation)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Proven experience in managing projects from conception through to delivery, both online and in-person
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects and deadlines effectively
  • Account management experience, comfortable running programmes and projects, managing budgets, and meetings with internal and external parties
  • Ability to analyse partnership performance and prepare detailed reports and presentations backed up by data and metrics
  • Develop creative and innovative ideas for activations and engagements
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Proactive and enthusiastic with an eagerness to get stuck in
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prepare documents (reports, decks) to a professional standard
