Description:

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the role of the Parts Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, providing parts to both external customers and the Enerflex Field Service Technicians for all Enerflex product lines.
We seek a candidate who has a core foundation of integrity and is willing and able to use commitment and creativity to drive our organization towards success. This position is located in Southeast Calgary, Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Journeymen Parts Technician Certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal.
  • Energetic, self-starter with ability to work in fast paced environment that is deadline driven with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities and generate reports with high attention to detail.
  • Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of Lift Truck operation.
  • Knowledge of the gas compression and/or power generation industry an asset.
  • Familiar with sourcing “non-stock” material.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, experience in SAP considered an asset.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with all branch departments.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required and participate in the parts on-call rotation.
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.).

Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging technical knowledge of gas compression & power generation to make sales and support the customer’s needs.
  • Develop quotes for customers and follow-up as required.
  • Research and procure parts needed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Practice strong inventory management and stock optimization.
  • Create purchase orders, sales orders and process returns with accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive order and document back-up for recordkeeping auditing purposes.
  • Receive and resolve customer concerns.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance positive professional relationships with external and internal customers. Practice legendary customer service.
  • Parts pick-ups and deliveries within city limits and to field locations with shop truck.
  • Operate lift truck, pallet jacks and overhead crane.
  • Shipping, receiving and general warehousing tasks.
  • Participate in parts on call rotation.
  • Comply with all company Quality, Health and Safety regulations and work procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
