As a Parts Technician at our Mississauga branch, you’ll be responsible for managing the location’s parts inventory.

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties:

  • Oversee the parts inventory for the Mississauga location, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Source quotes, order parts, and support the service department in acquiring the necessary components.
  • Managing incoming parts orders from technicians and overseeing both inbound and outbound parts.
  • Handle inventory control, unload incoming inventory, pick-up and deliver parts and/or tools as required.
  • Assist with annual inventory cycle count processing and reporting.
  • Create electronic purchase orders and accurately process invoices for payout through the Bean System
  • Assist with the overall building and property maintenance and with various shop & equipment safety Inspections.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.

To be successful you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong customer service orientation, good communication skills, both verbal and written, solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.
  • Strong computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class 5)
  • Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

It would be an asset if you had the following skills / experience:

  • Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory management.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas, ability to perform LOOP-Ups)
  • Forklift experience with valid license.
  • Trailer/transportation industry experience.
