Patient Access Representative 1 - Neurology Clinic

Including but not limited to, greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone and routing calls appropriately when needed. Register patients checking in for appointments. Correctly input and update patient information as required. Make and schedule patient appointments in a timely manner. Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues. Verifying insurance information and collecting patient payments as well as doing a daily deposit. Work the referral work que and schedule patient appointments that are approved. Sort incoming faxes and take the mail. Assists with different duties as assigned. Previous office experience is a plus.

Experience :

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or a graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience

• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
