Description:
The Herbert Wertheim College Of Medicine is currently seeking a Patient Client Access Rep to join our team of Professionals:
Duties:
- Schedules and updates household visits via email. Arranges coverage for household visits by utilizing faculty physician/Resident’s household assignments.
- Screens and answers patient calls. Schedules and confirms mobile health center appointments for patients via phone. Interacts with non-English patients in Spanish/Creole to resolve inquiries
- Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
- Confirms and reminds supervising faculty, students, and safety officer of upcoming visits by providing key information, such as, date, time, zoom, and location.
- Provides support to patients by scheduling transportation rides.
- Registers household members in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Responds to and closes the loop on telephonic and electronic communications (Emails, EMR), including internal and external requests for services and information.
- Prepares resource folders for medical students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Administrative experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Creole.
