This referral management includes the receipt, patient acknowledgement, registering and prioritising of all referrals and the booking of patient appointments across all three services.

They will offer an efficient, helpful and friendly point of contact to patients, colleagues, hospital staff, GP practices and any other clinical and non-clinical professionals.
The post holder will ensure that referrals are registered correctly, triaged accurately and that appointments are booked within stated timescales in a professional and polite manner.
At all times they are expected to maintain and exemplary standard of patient confidentiality and ensure that all data entry is accurate at the time of entry.

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
