Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cancer Services for a dynamic and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and operational skills.
This is a challenging role where you will be required to track all suspected Cancer patients across specific sites to ensure National targets are met.
You will work as part of the wider Cancer services team to ensure data quality and data completeness for all patients.
You will need to be flexible and adaptable with excellent organisational skills. You will be required to manage your own workload, escalate concerns and ensure all deadlines are adhered to.
Pre-application visits and discussions are welcomed, and encouraged.
You will be responsible for working as part of the Cancer service steam to track suspected cancer patients at RSCH, including those referred for treatment from other trusts.
You will have some autonomy within the role to organise your working day to ensure all deadlines are met all patients are tracked correctly.

The Patient Pathway Tracker will be part of a team responsible for tracking patient pathways to ensure that cancer waiting times standards are met. The team will also manage the Consultant Patient Upgrade service. The role will involve sourcing and inputting clinical data in order to meet the requirements of the National Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset and National cancer audits
