Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

  • Collaborate with other Patient Safety and Quality Unit team members to develop, implement, and monitor safety and quality systems, including action plans for improvement.
  • Provide the Service Director and senior leadership group with a bi-monthly Safety and Quality Report including key performance measures and information relevant to the Directorate.
  • Facilitate relevant service group / speciality team training about patient safety and quality and provide advice to improve the safety culture, processes, outcomes and experiences through ongoing engagement with clinicians.

In your new role you will…

  • Demonstrate evidence of applied knowledge and skills of clinical governance systems, safety, and human factors science, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards second edition and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrate effective engagement, collaboration and change management with all levels of the workforce to achieve improved outcomes in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrate high level verbal and analytical writing skills with demonstrated ability to undertake data analysis and produce presentations and reports
