Patient Services Specialist - PIC Outpatient Schedule

Under supervision this position maximizes reimbursement for patient services by 1) assisting the patient in the pre-admission process; 2) providing assistance to patients with special financial needs; and 3) screening pre-registration inpatient admissions to ensure that all third party payor requirements have been met.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Additional college classes in medical, business or finance.
• Healthcare, business office or admitting experience.
