Pattern Developer / Designer, RTW (Maternity Cover or Freelance)

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• Track record and solid experience from a similar role in a contemporary or fashion company
• Strong pattern making and garment construction skills
• Education including pattern cutting
• Excellent digital proficiency, skilled Adobe illustrator user and experience with Centric PLM is a plus but not a necessity
• Ability to work independently in a creative capacity when required
• Team approach and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests while working in a high pace environment
• Excellent time management skills
• An understanding and connection with the GANNI brand aesthetic

As Pattern developer for RTW Woven categories, you will be part of the RTW Development team at the GANNI HQ office in Copenhagen. We are looking for full-time employment for a period of 10-12 months with a starting date latest 1st of July.

You will be in charge of the Pattern/Technical operation of selected RTW woven categories from initial design to sales samples arriving. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Developing products in close collaboration with Senior Designer - securing intended fit and silhouette for prototypes and incoming sales samples.
• Pattern development when needed and full technical view and management of styles within the assigned product group.
• Lineplan adherence for the category, managing overdevelopment and working with price brackets.
• Creating style specs / tech packs, measurement charts and grading in compliance with internal guidelines
• Ordering and receiving Proto samples, measure and lead fittings together with the designer.
• Communicate proto amendments to suppliers within the collection deadlines
• Create, enrich and maintain product master data in ERP/PLM systems as well as supporting documents.
• Daily communication with GANNI suppliers

The role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders from Design, Merchandise and Production Teams as well as a high level of attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on and creative environment.
