Responsibilities:
Ensure the Construction is in full compliance with the Project Agreement, including matters relating to quality, safety, environment, and life cycle performance, such as Project’s ECO Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and all applicable legislation.
• Ensuring maintenance of total quality performance standards, procedures and audit controls in order to meet project requirements
• Identifying and implementing process improvements in order to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of site operations
• Fostering client confidence in project leadership
• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of work plans and work packages
• Directing and ensuring completion of work activities on site in accordance with engineering plans
• Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents
• Provide other technical office support as required by project team.
• Assist in developing cost estimates, reviews and budgets
• Client service and customer focus in order to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
• Coordination of material and equipment needs.
• Prepare productivity and cost tracking report as required
• Prepare cost estimates for change orders for audit purposes
• Price work orders and change notices for audit purposes
• Prepare document turnover as required for client and milestone records
• Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports
• Participate in on-site safety meetings and lead by example
• Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with all stakeholders, internal and external
• Other duties as assigned.
