The 777X Monuments Team within Boeing Commercial Aircraft Payloads Organization is seeking Associate Engineers to join our team in Everett, WA.
The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you don’t. The Interiors of the airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight. Our organization is a fast paced, dynamic environment, which pulls from many engineering backgrounds.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience
  • Experience supporting a cross-functional team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated interest in continuous personal learning and development

Payloads is seeking candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Supporting multiple engineering projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with standard engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Working with external stakeholders and or leadership

Responsibilities:

This position requires the ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders, communicate with executive leadership and customers located around the world, and lead/influence technical teams to coordinate work and resolve emergent issues. Stakeholder include but not limited to suppliers, customers, sales, supplier management, engineering teams, regulatory administrators, and manufacturing teams. Significant amount of domestic and international travel is required, some on short notice.
