Description:
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities associated to the Commercial Pricing & Payments team. The team is responsible for monthly payments to retail agents for services they provide, the pricing of consumer parcels and the pricing of Payment Services’ charges. This is not your average, structured accounts role. There’s lots of variety and surprises, so you’ll need to be someone who enjoys being kept on your toes! You’ll own your payment portfolio and need to ensure you’re thinking outside the box and using your initiative to ensure contribution margin growth, particularly from consumer parcels and Payment Services.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly payments to Retail agents for their services; managing store-ownership information, remuneration rates and payment related support.
- Assisting with pricing related tasks such as: strategy development, maintaining price-lists, monthly and annual processes.
- Analysis and reporting to support performance of agents and the Customer team.
- Business case support through reporting and insight-analysis.
- Project support of small projects.
- Provide guidance on data and models for Customer team.

- Ideally you will have related experience and an interest in accounts-payable, product pricing/analysis or retail-franchise support.
- You love turning out high quality work that others, especially external stakeholders, are dependent on.
- You manage your time to meet deadlines and you have a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- You have the skills to obtain and analyse information from varied sources and the ability to clearly communicate the outputs to a range of audiences.
- Your ability to network across the business and work with a diverse range of both external and internal stakeholders will be a huge enabler to your success.
- You work well with all sorts of people through your relationship and communication skills; you are a good listener and questioner.
