Payments Specialist

Raze Global Markets Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payments Processor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the FX brokerage or payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment processing, working with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and secure handling of client transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Processing: Execute and oversee payment processing activities, including deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers. Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timeframes.
PSP Management: Establish and maintain relationships with various Payment Service Providers (PSPs). Monitor and optimize payment gateways and systems to ensure smooth and secure transactions.
Transaction Monitoring: Implement and manage transaction monitoring systems to detect and prevent fraudulent activities. Ensure all payment processes comply with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients regarding payment-related inquiries and issues. Ensure timely and professional resolution of client concerns to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of payments and transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure accurate financial records.
Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and ensure all payment activities comply with industry standards and legal obligations. Work closely with compliance teams to implement necessary controls.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, security, and effectiveness of payment processing operations. Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, compliance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of payment processes across the organization. Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall financial operations.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on payment activities, transaction volumes, performance metrics, and any issues encountered. Use data to drive strategic decisions and operational enhancements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the FX brokerage or payments industry, with a focus on payment processing and working with PSPs. (Non-negotiable)
Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the FX brokerage industry, including the various financial products, services, and market dynamics.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using payment processing systems, payment gateways, and related tools. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of AML, KYC, and other relevant regulatory requirements related to payment processing in the financial services industry.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to monitor, analyze, and interpret transaction data. Ability to identify trends, detect anomalies, and take corrective actions.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of payment processing and reconciliation.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, PSPs, and internal stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze potential solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
