Introduction
Our client is seeking a Payroll Administrator
The Group represents an innovative and comprehensive basket of quality hygiene and safety products tailored for various industries, including hospitality, food & beverage, healthcare, laundry, institutional, mining, engineering, manufacturing, and transport. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and upkeep of employee payroll files
  • Drawing up employee contracts
  • Loading and processing of monthly salaries for the group
  • Leave processing
  • Annual budget preparation for total staff Cost to Company (CTC)
  • Staff loans – processing and deductions
  • Injury on Duty (IOD) claims – lodge and follow up
  • Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) maintenance
  • Monthly schedules for medical aid, pension, and union fees
  • Payroll reporting
  • Sending out payslips
  • Administrative assistance relating to company policies and procedures
  • Administrative assistance relating to disciplinary code (warnings, etc.)
  • Investigate and clear monthly salary control accounts
  • Employee queries
  • Annual/Quarterly Skills Development Levy (SETA) and Employment Equity (EE) reporting
  • Recruitment/dealing with agencies ad hoc and when required
  • Annual Income Tax Return (IRP5) and IT3 submissions
  • Monthly EMP201 filing and Department of Labour declarations

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matriculation
  • Tertiary or formal education in Human Resources/Payroll (Degree/Diploma)
  • Own/reliable transport
  • Neat and presentable appearance
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literate in: MS Office, Email and Pastel Payroll
  • 5 years of work experience in a similar position
