PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:

We are delighted to present a remarkable opportunity at a premier accounting firm situated in the scenic Southern Cape. Our client, a distinguished financial company, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team at the Swellendam office. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric.
  • Previous working experience in:
  • e-Filing,
  • E@syfile,
  • Payspace,
  • Compeasy.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAGE, and Xero.
  • 1+ years’ experience in payroll administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes for clients, including processing payroll, calculating deductions accurately, and ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Leave Register Management: Maintain leave registers for clients, tracking employees’ vacation, sick leave, and other absences to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Tax Compliance: Complete and submit EMP201 returns to SARS, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Reconciliation Tasks: Complete and submit EMP501 reconciliations, reconciling payroll data with statutory requirements and providing accurate reports to authorities.
  • UIF Documentation: Complete and submit UI-19 forms to the UIF, furnishing necessary information about employee terminations in compliance with regulations.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Handle annual Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases returns, ensuring legal compliance and providing required documentation.
  • Incident Reporting: Report on-the-job injuries, maintain injury records, and follow appropriate procedures to ensure employee safety and compliance with regulations.
