Description:

Robert Half is looking for a Payroll Administrator on a short-term contract opportunity. We are looking for someone who can process payroll effectively and efficiently for a company in northern Kentucky. This role is remote. You’re a good fit for this position if you have experience with ADP (Vantage) and are ready for a challenge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with ADP Vantage
Working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
Relevant experience in payroll
Experience with high volume data entry
General familiarity with Kronos Timekeeping System
Well-founded grasp of union and non-union payroll
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to be a team player
Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

Responsibilities:

Answer questions and requests related to payroll information
Understand and report necessary changes to payroll operations by maintaining established policies and procedures
Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data
Manage other tasks as assigned
Resolve payroll discrepancies via information collection and analysis
Handle weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll
Maintain all updates of payroll records by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
